The main player in the Spanish air contitioning market

Climaveneta España (Top Clima) has more than 100 employees in 5 offices in Barcelona, Parets de Valles, Valencia, Madrid, Malaga and Sevilla, and 4 delegations in San Sebastian, Vigo, Zaragoza and Palma de Mallorca.

This main player in the Spanish air conditioning market was born in 1994 as Top Clima SL by a business intuition of three market experts. Luciano Ortuño, Emilio Motta and Jaime Macià established the firm in two main offices: the first in the productivity centre of Catalonia, the other one in the hearth of Valencia Community. The headquarters are in Barcelona, with 5 people working, the charter members Luciano and Jaime, the son of the first one Marcos and finally Paco Fernandez and Carmen Sanchez, mainstay of the new born Top Clima. Valencia office houses the third member Mr Motta, his daughter Laura and a successful sales man Valentin Gonzalez. A few after also Marco Motta, first son of Mr Motta, joined the team. In 2002 Top Clima creates a new after sales centre based in Parets del Valles and in the same year starts roof top and room top production through AYRE plant closed to Barcelona. In this period youngest sons of the charter members joined Top Clima enterprise: Nacho Ortuño in AYRE branch and Oscar Macia in charge of marketing services.

Since the foundation, in 1994, relationship between Top Clima and Climaveneta has been strong and profitable. Through the Spanish firm Climaveneta was able to achieve a big success all over Spain and to grant a strong position of the Italian brand in Spanish air conditioning market. This success brought to the foundation of the subsidiary Climaveneta Espana.

Climaveneta’s presence in the Spanish market is completed by the AYRE plants, dedicated to the production of direct expansion compact and rooftop units. The demand for these solutions has been especially strong in the Spanish market, characterized by the full expansion of the country since the late 90s.

Founded in 2002 and located in Parets del Valles, an industrial area about 25 km far from Barcelona, AYRE has merged with Top Clima in 2007 and later has been acquired by Climaveneta Espana. It is charachterized by a production area of 2.500 m² and 45 employees.
