Unit description

Autonomous rooftop unit, air/air reversible, for the thermohygrometric treatment, the filtration and the air change in wide areas. Both winter and summer operating conditions, double refrigerant circuit, scroll compressors with refrigerant R410A. Direct expansion finned external exchangers with thermodynamic effect on the exhaust air. Air treatment section with plug-fans and direct expansion finned internal exchangers. Air quality control with CO2 probe. Enthalpic rotary heat recovery. Management of air treatment section according to the requested heating or cooling capacity by the “Vair” function.

Features

VARIABLE AIRFLOW FOR AIR TREATMENT SECTION
The specific VAir function is used to deliver air according to the flow of hot-cold air and many other operating parameters. This offers significant reductions in the power input of the fans.
HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY
The use of the R410A gas conjoined to the elevated thermodynamic recovery degree of the energy contained in the exhaust air guarantee a high efficiency during the operation.
ROTARY-TYPE ENTHALPY RECOVERY
The exclusive rotary recovery allows sensible and latent energy from the exhaust airflow both in winter and summer conditions. The latent recovery, in particular, is important in dehumidification in summer and humidification in winter for indoor, with very high efficiency values.
PLUG-FAN VENTILATION
The plug-fan supply and return fan section matchs the high efficacy ventilation with a quicker and easier electric and aerolics installation of the unit.
COMFORT
The wide working field, the air quality probe, the predisposition for the remote supervising and the accurate planning of the unit ensure optimum capacities and comfort warrantee, with a continuous and constant bringing in of thermal load also in the more onerous thermohygrometric and crowding conditions.

AIR3000SE
The AIR3000SE controller offers advanced functions and algorithms. The keypad features functional controls and a complete LCD display that allows assessment and intervention on the unit by means of a multi-level menu with selectable user´s language. The presence of the programmable timer allows the creation of an operating profile containing up to 4 typical days and 10 time bands. The proportional step heat adjustment is based on the return temperature; proportional-integral adjustment can also be set. Functions include adjustment of available resources, ambient humidity, thermal or enthalpic (optional) free-cooling and delivery temperature limitation. Defrosting is based on a self-adaptive propriety logic with monitoring of many operating and environmental parameters. The specific VAir function is used to deliver air according to the flow of hot-cold air and many other operating parameters. This offers significant reductions in the power input of the fans. The function can be selected from a parameter, it operates within settable flow values and is compatible with the adjusted rotation speed, adjusted flow and adjusted pressure ventilation methods. It also guarantees any differences required between return and delivery airflows. The diagnostics comprises a complete alarm management system, including “black box” (via PC) functions and an alarm log (via display or also PC) for optimised analysis of unit performance. Supervision can be easily developed via proprietary devices or the integration in third party systems by means of the most common protocols as ModBus, Bacnet, Bacnet-over-IP, Echelon LonWorks protocols. Compatibility with the remote keyboard managing up to 10 units.
