CHALLENGE
Ensuring constant temperature and humidity levels are critical aspects for data centers’ reliability and performance. In this project in particular the cooling required by the servers in the room was managed with a hot aisle containment configuration.

SOLUTION
In the server room 36 i-AXU 070 close control air conditioners with direct expansion and airflow under the floor were installed; these units, thanks to inverter compressors, are also efficient at partial loads, thus enhancing energy savings. In the UPS & STS rooms and in the battery room 14 AX0 with direct expansion and airflow over the floor were installed. The waste heat is then dissipated thanks to a water to refrigerant heat exchanger based on cooling towers.
